Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the UNIFIL Commander Major General Aroldo Lázaro, and they discussed cooperation and coordination between the LAF and UNIFIL in light of the current situation in the south. He also received the British Army's Deputy Chief of Defense Staff for Military Strategy and Operations, Lieutenant General Charles Walker, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, accompanied by the British Military Attaché in Lebanon, Lieutenant Colonel Lee Richard Saunders, and they discussed ways of cooperation between the armies of both countries.
