Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, who offered condolences for the army's martyrs. They discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as developments at the southern border amid the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon. He also confirmed the European Union's continued support for the army, through the provision of 40 million euros for the benefit of the military institution.
