Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Murat Lütem, accompanied by the Turkish Military Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Erdinc Durmaz. Discussions during the visit covered the general situation in Lebanon and the region. General Aoun also received the Chief of the Defense Staff, General Luciano Portolano, and discussed strengthening cooperation relations between the armies of the two countries, and coordination between the Lebanese Army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon - UNIFIL.
