Warning to Citizens against Violations and Rioting

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Several areas, particularly around Rafic Hariri International Airport, are witnessing protests that are accompanied by violations and acts of rioting, including assaults on army personnel, attacks on vehicles belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and attempts to block the airport road.
The Army Command warns citizens against continuing these practices, which could create internal tensions with serious consequences during this critical phase the country is experiencing.
Units will continue to carry out their security preservation missions, firmly prevent any harm to civil peace, and apprehend those disrupting security.
