Clarification about the US military aircraft's mission at Rayak Airport

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A newspaper and some websites reported that a US military airplane had arrived at Rayak Airport to transport an American journalist Austin Tice.

It is important for LAF to make it clear that the American military airplane was on a routine mission with an American team coming to train some military units.

The American military airplane finished its mission and left without the journalist Tice, contrary to what was reported.
