LAF Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Mr. Jean-Pierre LACROIX, accompanied by the UNIFIL Commander Major General Stefano DEL COL. Discussion covered the general situation on the southern borders.
General Aoun also received the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ms. Chantal CHASTENAY, accompanied by the Military Attaché, Lt. Col. David JONES, who introduced his successor, Lt. Col. Gino CHRETIEN.
He also received the Turkish military attaché, Colonel Bayram BUYAN, then the French military attaché, Colonel Fabrice Chapelle, who introduced his successor Colonel Gregory MEDINA.
