Individuals arrested for their involvement in smuggling people illegally by sea

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 06/06/2022, an army unit arrested in Port Saïd Mina – Tripoli the citizens (M.K.), (M.M.), (Y.D.), (A.D.), (AA.AA.) and (B.Y.) during a raid for being involved in collecting funds to smuggle people illegally by sea. A military handgun, its ammunition and a sum of money were seized in their possession.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
