Areas in southern Lebanon are being targeted by Israeli enemy shelling

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 08/10/2023, military units belonging to the Israeli enemy launched artillery and tank attacks on the outskirts of the towns of Shebaa, Helta, Kfarshuba, and Al-Habariyah, following the firing of shells and missiles from a southern area towards Israeli enemy positions in the occupied Lebanese territories. The hostile shelling resulted in injuries among the civilians, who were transported to a hospital for treatment.

In parallel, the Lebanese army has been deploying in the border areas since 07/10/2023, conducting patrols and closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
