The LAF Commander inaugurates the Training Center for Medical Simulation Devices and the Biomedical and Immunology Laboratory in Military Healthcare
The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, inaugurated the Training Center for Medical Simulation Devices dedicated to training doctors and nurses on various tasks related to healthcare provision, as well as the Biomedical and Immunology Laboratory, which will significantly enhance the capacity of the central military laboratories to conduct accurate laboratory tests. The project was funded through donations provided by army supporters.
The Army Commander also met with the officers and military personnel in the field of military medicine, and congratulated them on their achievements and on being the pride of the institution. He then stated that providing treatment to around 450,000 beneficiaries, who constitute approximately 10% of Lebanon's population, is a daily battle far more difficult than conventional battles, emphasizing the importance of the great efforts exerted by the medical personnel.
He addressed them, saying, "I see confidence, determination, steadfastness, and resilience in your eyes every time we meet, thus motivating me to pursue the journey of developing Military Healthcare whose success is attributed to the concerted efforts of the Medical Directorate, officers, soldiers, and medical staff, along with army supporters, whether they are countries, friend armies, or individuals who provide vital contributions due to their trust in the institution, its credibility and transparency.”
He added, "I appreciate your dedication, effective management, and the sacrifices you make, all in belief in the sanctity of the mission of serving our people. We shall continue working to the best of our abilities to elevate the status of military healthcare, for as long as the medical field thrives, the army remains strong.”
