Raid and arrest of 4 individuals in Brital - Bekaa following an army patrol being subjected to gunfire

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 15/07/2024, following an army patrol being subjected to gunfire without any injuries in Brital - Bekaa, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, carried out a raid operation and arrested 4 individuals. Firearms, an amount of ammunition, and drugs were seized in their possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
