The Interim Lebanese Armed Forces Commander visits the Fifth Infantry Brigade in Sidon

The Interim Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, visited the Fifth Infantry Brigade in Bayada-Sidon, where he met with officers and soldiers, praising their performance amid challenging circumstances. He emphasized the sacrifices of martyrs and the wounded, stating there is no fear for the nation with brave soldiers defending it. He noted that the LAF is the lifeline for Lebanon.

He then listened to a briefing from the brigade commander regarding the missions carried out within their area of responsibility to complete deployment, enhance positioning, and assert state authority, coinciding with the withdrawal of Israeli forces.

Major General Audi commended the LAF's role in successfully executing the deployment in the southern Litany sector. Afterward, he inspected the units deployed in Chamaa and Al Smaeieh, gaining insight into their missions.
