The Army Stands by the Residents in Facing the Israeli Enemy in the Southern Border Towns, Calling on Them to Adhere to Military Unit Directives

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The army continues to accompany the returning residents to the southern border towns and stands by them in facing the Israeli enemy, fulfilling its national duty. This comes in light of the enemy's insistence on targeting military personnel and civilians, resulting in numerous martyrs and wounded, as well as its blatant refusal to adhere to the ceasefire agreement and withdraw from Lebanese territory.

In parallel, the army is continuing to enter several southern towns and deploy within them, calling on citizens to adhere to the directives of military units. It emphasizes that it is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the Five-Nation Committee overseeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism).
