The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Military units have deployed in the town of Aitaroun – Bint Jbeil in the central sector and other border areas in the South Litani region, in coordination with the five-member committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism). This comes amid ongoing Israeli aggression, including the burning of homes in several towns such as Aitaroun - Bint Jbeil, Rab Thalathin, and Adaisseh – Marjayoun, as well as two airstrikes on vehicles involved in the retrieval of the martyrs' bodies in the town of Taybeh - Marjayoun.
In light of these aggressions, the Army Command urges citizens to adhere to the instructions issued in its official statements, to follow the guidance of the deployed military units, and to coordinate with local authorities to ensure their safety and well-being.
The army continues to support citizens in border towns and is working to implement Resolution 1701 and carry out necessary field measures in several locations in the South Litani area.
