Five individuals arrested in the town of Al Qmatiye – Aley for shooting

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On March 19, 2025, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the following individuals: (AA.R.), (F.H.), (SH.SH.), (N.H.), and the Syrian national (A.K.) for firing shots in the town of Al Qmatiye – Aley during funeral processions on March 17 and 18, 2025. A number of weapons and ammunition were seized in their possession.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
