Arrest of citizens and seizure of vehicles in Hermel – Bekaa and Al-Aboudiyeh – North

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On April 7, 2025, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Hermel–Bekaa the citizen (AA.B.) for attempting to kidnap Syrians.
Additionally, an army unit arrested in Al Aboudiyeh – North the citizens (Z.AA.), (A.D.), and (AA.S.) for smuggling Syrians into Lebanese territory and seized three vans used in the smuggling operations.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
