The Engineering Regiment

Mission:

• Increasing the efficacy during the combat of Infantry Brigades by providing the support of engineering combat.
• Performing the mission of Infantry combats when need be.
• Providing support in treating unexploded ammunition and Improvised Explosive Devices as well as protecting from weapons of mass destruction.

The emblem:
The emblem is composed of a tower and barbed wires symbolizing ramming and fortification works, a cogwheel symbolizing utilization of engineering machinery and lightning to denote utilization and neutralization of different types of explosives, mines and ammunitions.

Date of establishment:
The Engineering Regiment was established on 01/03/1983 and was located in Kfarshima.
