A raid in Kamed el-Lawz

An Army Intelligence Directorate force arrested in Kamed el-Lawz – west Bekaa the Lebanese citizn Youssef Fares who is wanted for the crimes of gun traffic and opening fire using a military weapon during a previosu incident. Fares opened fire using a pistol and targeted the Intelligence force troops while attempting to flee the scene without casuing any casualties.
In related news, A Directorate of Intelligence force raided the region of el-Zrazir – Deir el-Ahmar and specifically the residence of the Lebanese citizen Boutros el-Habchi where the troops arrested Farid Habchi, Rawad Habchi, Gilbert Habchi and Sobhi Habchi for their participation in the fabrication of Hashish. A cargo of 2 vans filled with Hashish was seized during the raid in addition to 5 machines used in the fabrication process as well as other equipments and 5 vehicles including 2 vehicles with 2 forged license plates.
The arrested individuals and the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities in order to take the proper measures.
