Brigadier General Wassim el Halabi, head of the Armed forces Commander office visited the Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church for the Archdiocese of Beirut, Archbishop Elias Aoude where he offered him an appreciation letter and the army shield on behalf of the armed forces commander General Joseph aoun in appreciation of his national and humanitarian stances and his solidarity with the military institution through putting the hospital of St. George hospital – Ashrafieh under the LAF’s command to treat the soldiers who were wounded during the operation of the Dawn of the Jurds.
