Visitors of General Aoun

The LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Commanding General of Italy’s Carabinieri General Giovanni Nistri who headed an accompanying delegation. Discussions with the visitors addressed the relation of cooperation between the armies of both countries. General Aoun then met with the Defense Attaché of Egypt Colonel Mohammad Salah Eddin Ahmad Sayed in a farewell visit where he introduced his successor Brigadier General Ahmad Mohammad Mohammad Ali el-Shahat. Later during the day, General Aoun received a delegation of “Kafa” association headed by Ms. Zoya Rouhana. He also received Mr. Elie Mechantaf accompanied by Mr. Wadih Hanna. Discussions during the visit tackled different matters.
