3 Syrians arrested at Deir Ammar checkpoint, on suspicion of trying to kill their cousin

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 6/5/2023, after monitoring and follow-up by the Intelligence Directorate, the Syrians (J.M.), (AA.M.) and (S.M.) were arrested at Deir Ammar checkpoint while trying to cross the checkpoint on two motorcycles to escape to Syria, on suspicion of attempting to kill their cousin in the city of Tripoli. They admitted their crime during interrogation.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
