4 Individuals arrested in Nahr el-Bared Camp and Baalbek for committing various crimes

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Further to the previous statement regarding the arrest of a wanted individual on 08/07/2024 following an incident in the Nahr El Bared camp, and as part of the pursuit of the perpetrators of the incident, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Palestinians (AA.L.) and (M.H.) inside the camp. It was found that they were wanted for opening fire and inciting incidents on previous occasions.

Another patrol also arrested in Baalbek – Hay Al Sheikh Habib the citizen (AA.AA.), who was wanted for opening fire, and the citizen (M.A.), who was wanted for trafficking in firearms. A firearm was seized in their possession.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
