Acting LAF Commander Visits Several Units Deployed in the South

Acting LAF Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, inspected the South Litani Sector Command at Benoit Barakat Barracks – Tyre, where he was briefed on the operational deployment of military units in light of the repeated violations and aggressions by the Israeli enemy.
He then visited the 5th Infantry Brigade Command in Al Bayyadah, where he reviewed the missions carried out within the area of responsibility. He stated that the soldiers who were martyred in the explosion during an inspection of a weapons and ammunition depot in the South on August 9, 2025, had made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. He extended his condolences to their comrades and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded soldiers.
Afterwards, he visited the Engineering Regiment unit at Issam Chamoun Barracks – Nabatieh, where he met with officers and soldiers, offering condolences for their fallen comrades. He emphasized the importance of maintaining readiness under the current exceptional circumstances.
Major General Audi also visited Hamoud University Hospital – Saida, where he checked on one of the soldiers injured in the explosion, inquiring about his condition and commending his bravery in the line of duty.
