The Army Arrests a Citizen for Committing a Murder after a Series of Surveillance and Raid Operations

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 4/1/2026, after the citizen (W.Kh.) stabbed his brother (A.Kh.) and his nephew (M.Kh.) in the town of Majdel Anjar - Zahle due to personal disagreements resulting in the latter’s death, the Army Intelligence Directorate carried out a series of immediate and intensive surveillance operations, which included raiding several locations in cooperation with operational units. As a result, the citizen (W.Kh.) was arrested, and a quantity of hashish was seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
