Army Arrests Four Individuals, Including a Wanted Drug Trafficker

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (AA.N.Z.) in the Ras Al Ain–Baalbek area, who was wanted for drug trafficking, as well as the Syrian (S.A.) for moving within Lebanese territory without legal documentation. The citizen (F.Z.), who was accompanying them, was also arrested. Weapons, military ammunition, a quantity of hashish, and military equipment were seized from their possession.

Another patrol from the Directorate arrested Lebanese citizen (AA.D.) in Hay Al Sellom–southern suburbs (Dahiyeh Janoubieh) area for opening fire and throwing a hand grenade, resulting in the injury of a citizen, as well as for stabbing another individual.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
