Army Arrests Members of Robbery and theft Gang and Raids Drug Manufacturing Facility

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following a security monitoring and surveillance operation, an Army unit arrested two citizens, (A.M.) and (B.A.), in Al Jammaliyeh – Baalbek. The two are wanted under several arrest warrants for forming, along with others, an armed gang involved in robbery and theft at gunpoint, as well as impersonating security personnel. A military pistol was found in their possession.

Another Army unit also raided a drug manufacturing facility in Al Knaiseh – Baalbek, where it seized quantities of raw materials and equipment used in the manufacture of drugs.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the two arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
