Army Commander-in-Chief visited the Fifth Intervention Regiment in Kfardounine – Bint Jbeil: The Lebanese are looking to the army in this difficult phase of our nation’s history

The Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, inspected the headquarters of the Fifth Intervention Regiment in Kfardounine – Bint Jbeil, where he reviewed the operational situation following the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement.

He met with officers and soldiers, praising their sacrifices, courage, and steadfast belief in their mission and in the homeland, despite the difficulties and challenges.

He addressed them by saying: “Today, all eyes are on the army. The Lebanese people are looking to it in this critical phase of our country’s history. The institution remains strong and united, despite limited resources.”

He added: “The command is proud of you and your professional performance—continue to rise to the challenges.”
