The Army Conducts a Raid in Bekaa and Seizes a Quantity of Weapons and Military Ammunition

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 8/7/2026, following surveillance and monitoring operations, an Army unit raided the residence of the citizen (A.Z.) in Souwairi – Bekaa, arresting him for trafficking military weapons. During the raid, the unit seized a quantity of weapons, military ammunition, and military equipment.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
