Army Conducts Raids in Search of Individuals Involved in an Armed Incident that Left Three Civilians Injured

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following an altercation that involved gunfire and resulted in the injury of three civilians in the town of Al Hishah – Wadi Khaled on 13 January 2026, Lebanese army units conducted a series of raids in the area. The citizen (M.H.) was arrested for his involvement in the incident and for possession of weapons and military-grade ammunition. A quantity of arms, ammunition, and Captagon pills was seized.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judicial authority. Follow-up efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
