Army Continues Anti-Drug Trafficking Operations and Seizes Large Quantities of Narcotics and Ammunition in the Residence of a Most-Wanted Individual in the Towns of Tal Al Abyad and Riha – Baalbek
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The army continues its operations to combat drug trafficking and manufacturing. In this context, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence raided several residences belonging to the citizens (N.Z.) and (Z.Z.) in the town of Tal Al Abyad – Baalbek. The two individuals are among the most wanted. Inside one of the residences, the patrol discovered a concealed secret hideout used to store drugs in preparation for their distribution across various regions. A large quantity of raw materials used in drug manufacturing was seized, in addition to military ammunition.
Another patrol raided residences belonging to the same wanted individuals in the Riha area – Baalbek, where it seized a large quantity of hashish and equipment used in its production.
