The Army Continues to Pursue Wanted Individuals, Drug Traffickers, and those Disrupting Security, Arresting a Number of Them
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Army continues to pursue wanted individuals, drug traffickers, and those disrupting security across various Lebanese regions. In this context, Army units raided the residences of wanted individuals in the following areas: Choueifat, Doha Aramoun – Aley, Bebnine – Akkar, Al Tabbaneh – Tripoli, Arsal – Baalbek, Mansourieh – Metn. As a result, 10 Lebanese citizens and one Syrian national were arrested for opening fire, in addition to three Syrian nationals for entering Lebanese territory illegally. A quantity of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment was seized in their possession.
Furthermore, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Lebanese citizen (W.Q.) in Dam Wal Farz – Tripoli for his involvement, on 10/7/2025, in an altercation that included gunfire at a citizen, leading to the latter’s death. A military pistol was seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
