The Army continues pursuing gunmen and arrests Syrians for illegally entering Lebanese territory

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Army units raided the residences of individuals involved in shooting incidents in the areas of Borj Al Barajneh – Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahye Janoubieh) and Khaldeh – Aley. They arrested two citizens (H.M.) and (H.H.), and seized weapons, military ammunition, and military equipment.

Another army unit also arrested 70 Syrians in the outskirts of the town of Arsal – Bekaa for entering Lebanese territory illegally.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and the investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
