Army Frees Kidnapped Syrian and Pursues Those Involved in His Kidnapping

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following security surveillance and close monitoring, the Intelligence Directorate carried out raids in the town of Brital – Baalbek and succeeded in freeing a kidnapped Syrian national. He had been abducted during the night of August 14–15, 2026, by a gang of Lebanese and Syrian nationals, who demanded a ransom in exchange for his release.

The Directorate continues to conduct raids to pursue and arrest those involved in the abduction.
