The Army Headquarters Announces The Demise Of Retired Brigadier General Manalo el Kari

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation announces the demise of Retired Brigadier General Manalo el Kari who passed away on 17/02/2019. In the following is a summary of his life:

  • Born on 20/10/1937 in Ras Maska - Koura.
  • Enrolled in the Army on 07/10/1957 then rose to Brigadier General from 01/07/1986.
  • Granted several medals and the commendation of the Armed Forces Commander several times.
  • Attended several courses inside and outside Lebanon
  • Married with 4 children.

 

The deceased will be transferred on 19/02/2019 at 9.15 from the Central Military Hospital to St. Nicholas Church - Achrafieh where the funeral will be held on the same date at 12.00, then prayers will be held in St. Berbara Church in Ras Masqa – Koura and the burial will take place in the family cemetery.

Condolences may be offered before the funeral at 10.00 in the hall of St. Nicholas Church – Ashrafieh and after the funeral at 18.00 in the hall of St. Berbara Church in Ras Masqa – Koura, then on 20 and 21/02/2019 from 11.00 till 18.00 ‎‎in St. Nicholas Church.
