Arrest of 22 Individuals in Various Areas of Bekaa and Beirut

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Units of the LAF, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in various areas of Bekaa and arrested 15 citizens for arms trafficking and shooting. A large quantity of military weapons, ammunition, and military gear was seized in their possession.
Additionally, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested 4 citizens and 3 Palestinians in the neighborhoods of Al Masaitbeh and Tariq Al Jdideh in Beirut for firing weapons. Military weapons, ammunition, and military gear were also seized from them.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
