Arrest of 3 Citizens as Part of Security Measures in Various Areas

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:  
As part of the security measures implemented by the military institution in various regions, units of the army, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested 3 citizens as follows:  
•    A raid on the residence of citizen (G.M.) in Hay Al Sellom– Baabda, leading to his arrest for drug abuse and trafficking, shooting, and provoking clashes. Firearms and a quantity of hashish were seized in his possession.
•    Arrest of citizen (M.Y.) in Nabatiyeh for shooting.
•    Arrest of citizen (A.S.) for drug trafficking.  
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
