Arrest of 3 Citizens as Part of Security Measures in Various Lebanese Regions

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the pursuit of individuals involved in trafficking military weapons and those disrupting security, an Army unit in the Al Sefri – Baalbek arrested citizen (H.H.) for opening fire and possessing military weapons, and citizen (M.T.) for possessing a quantity of ammunition.

Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence in Sahraa Choueifat arrested citizen (Z.Z.), who was wanted under several arrest warrants for committing various crimes, including: attempted murder, assaulting a citizen, collecting money by force of arms in connection with his involvement in usury activities, trafficking military weapons, extortion, instigating disturbances, and opening fire.

The seized items were handed over and investigations were initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
