Arrest of 63 Syrians for Illegal Presence in Lebanon

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
LAF Units, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, conducted raids in the following areas: Jaboula, Mashari' Al Qaa - Baalbek, Koura, Al Amiriyeh - Akkar, Aiyha - Rashaya, and Zahle. They arrested 63 Syrians for illegally roaming within Lebanese territory and seized a large quantity of drugs.
Additionally, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested a citizen (M.L.) and seven Palestinians in the Mina area of Tripoli for possessing a military weapon and a quantity of hashish.
Furthermore, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the Tabarja - Kesrouan arrested two Syrians (Y.KH.) and (S.S.) for drug trafficking, seizing a quantity in their possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
