Arrest of a Citizen and 17 Syrians in Rassm al-Hadath – Baalbek

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the efforts to combat infiltration and smuggling across the northern and eastern borders, a unit of the army arrested a citizen (M.D.) in Rasm Al Hadath – Baalbek for attempting to smuggle 17 Syrians into Lebanese territory using a van.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
