Arrest of a Citizen and a Palestinian as Part of the Pursuit of Those Involved in Arms and Drug Trafficking

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of ongoing efforts to pursue individuals involved in arms and drug trafficking in Saida, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (H.M.) in Anqoun – Saida for trafficking military weapons. A large quantity was seized from his residence.
Additionally, a LAF unit arrested the Palestinian (Y.KH.) at the entrance of the Ain Al Hilweh camp – Saida for possessing two thousand Captagon pills and various types of narcotic substances.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
