Arrest of a Citizen for Collaborating with the Israeli Enemy and Referral to the Competent Judicial authorities

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the Intelligence Directorate's monitoring of the activities of the Israeli enemy and its efforts to recruit agents, the Directorate arrested the citizen (H.A.) for communicating with operators from the enemy's intelligence agency, who deceived him into believing they were affiliated with an international organization. The arrested individual provided his handlers with security information, then became involved in collaboration and traveled into the occupied Palestinian territories, where he met with his handlers and received financial payments from them.

The arrested individual has been referred to the competent judicial authorities.
