Arrest of citizens for possession of military weapons and drugs as part of efforts to pursue individuals disrupting security across various Lebanese regions

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The army continues to pursue wanted individuals and those disrupting security in various Lebanese regions. In this context, an army unit arrested three citizens at the Rouaimeh and Hnaider checkpoints in Akkar for possessing military weapons, a quantity of drugs, and a sum of counterfeit money.
Another unit also arrested four citizens in the city of Beirut for possessing pistols and military ammunition.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees have been initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
