The arrest of an individual in Al Zrariyeh – South Lebanon and 12 Syrians in Deir Ammar and Al Uwaynat – North Lebanon

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An army unit supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residence of the wanted citizen (M.T.) in Al Zrariyeh – South Lebanon and arrested him for opening fire and provoking clashes. A firearm and an amount of ammunition were seized in his possession.
Another unit also arrested 12 Syrians in Deir Ammar and Al Uwaynat - North Lebanon for illegally entering Lebanese territory.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
