Arrest of two citizens after they assaulted a religious figure in Baalchmay – Baabda

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On May 1, 2025, citizens (J.A.) and (B.A.) assaulted a religious figure in Baalchmay – Baabda.
In response, the Intelligence Directorate conducted a series of monitoring and tracking operations, as well as raids with the support of other army units, resulting in the arrest of the aforementioned citizens. An investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

The army command urges citizens to act responsibly and refrain from engaging in actions that may threaten civil peace during this critical period our country is experiencing.
