Arrest of two citizens in Al Mrayjeh – Dahiye Janoubiye and seizure of a quantity of hashish and manufacturing equipment in Bouday - Baalbek

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the citizens (H.H.) and (AA.Q.) in Al Mrayjeh – Dahiye Janoubiye for drug use and trafficking. They seized a large quantity of drugs (sylvia, hashish, cocaine base) in their possession.
A patrol from the Directorate also raided a residence and farm belonging to the citizen (H.Sh.) in Bouday - Baalbek for opening fire on the vehicle of the citizen (Z.Sh.). They seized a large quantity of hashish and equipment for its manufacture.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
