Arrest of Two Citizens in Bir Hassan – Dahyeh Janoubiyeh and Iaat – Baalbek for Committing Various Crimes

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (AA.Z.) in Bir Hassan – Dahyeh Janoubiyeh for forming a gang to steal motorcycles, impose extortion, create disturbances, fire shots, use drugs, and traffic in military weapons and ammunition.

Additionally, another patrol from the Directorate raided the residence of the citizen (A.A.) in Iaat–Baalbek for trading in firearms. A large quantity of firearms, ammunition, and military equipment were seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
