Arrest of Two Citizens for Committing Various Crimes, Including Opening Fire on an Army Patrol

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Army units conducted raids on the residences of wanted individuals in Al Shrawneh - Baalbek, resulting in the arrest of the citizen (AA.Z.), who is wanted for multiple crimes, including opening fire on an army patrol. A quantity of hashish, Captagon pills, weapons, military ammunition, and additional military equipment was seized in his possession.
Another army unit also arrested the citizen (R.M.) in Majdaloun – Baalbek for failing to comply with checkpoint personnel and for possessing a military weapon and a quantity of hashish.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
