Arrest of Two Citizens in the Context of Pursuing Wanted Individuals and Those Disrupting Security

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Military units continue to carry out their missions across various Lebanese regions to arrest wanted individuals and those disrupting public security. In this context, an Army unit in the Chraouneh area – Baalbek arrested the citizen (A.J.) for committing acts of theft and opening fire.
Another Army unit in the Maali area – Hermel arrested the citizen (A.D.) for shooting and wounding an individual. He is also wanted under several arrest warrants for the crimes of shooting and extortion.
The investigation was initiated with the two arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
