Arrest of Two Citizens for their Involvement in Attempted Kidnapping

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 11/12/2025, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested two citizens, (M.D.) and (H.J.), in Alma–Zgharta and Baddawi–Tripoli, for their involvement in an attempt to kidnap the Syrian national (M.S.) and for shooting at him in Alma–Zgharta.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, and follow-up actions are underway to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
