An attempt of Syrians to cross the border illegally thwarted

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the fight against people smuggling and illegal infiltration across the land border, an Army Unit last week thwarted an attempted infiltration of around 1200 Syrians at the Lebanese-Syrian border.
