Ceremony for the Presentation of Soldiers and Recruits whose Service has Been Extended
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A ceremony was held at Dani Harb Barracks in Ghosta for the presentation of soldiers and recruits whose service has been extended, after completing their designated training period. The ceremony was chaired by the commander of the Commando Regiment, representing the interim Army Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, and attended by several officers and the graduates' families.
Brigadier General Maroun Abou Heloun, the regiment commander, delivered a speech, stating: "Do not let your people down on any day. They hold your army's role in high regard, and your steadfastness is of great importance in facing the current challenges that Lebanon is witnessing, with the threat of the Israeli enemy being at the forefront. There is no salvation for our country nor hope for its recovery except by ensuring the necessary security and stability, which is precisely the core of your mission at this time."
At the end of the ceremony, a military parade took place in which the graduating personnel participated.
